About the 6-Figure Practice Program:
The Six Figure Practice with Sasha Raskin, is an online program and community for helpers such as counselors and coaches, who are building their private practice. If you’re looking for a clear, step-by-step road map for creating and marketing your private practice, you're at the right place!
My name is Sasha Raskin. I’m a Number 1 Best Selling Co-Author in 12 Countries, a Doctoral student in Counseling Education and Supervision, a coach, a psychotherapist and an adjunct faculty at a graduate counseling program at Naropa University.
One of the things I’m enjoying the most is helping other therapists and coaches build their successful private practice so that they could actually help the clients they were taught to help, and thrive themselves. I’m almost always fully booked, so my ability to work with individuals is limited. That is why I’ve created this program to deliver powerful results and create a community where you will feel supported by each other!
This program's primary goal is to help you build a thriving private practice, in a fun and authentic way. Counselors and coaches invest an incredible amount of time, money, and effort into building their helping skills. However, when their training ends, they usually find themselves lacking the business skills that are needed to start and run a successful private practice, feel isolated, discouraged and not knowing where to start.
I believe that to be truly helpful to others, therapists and coaches have to learn to thrive themselves and definitely know how to get clients whom they can help.
This is where this program comes in. If you're willing to learn and work hard, a 6-figure private practice is within your reach in a year - 2 years. This program will give you a clear outline, and detailed instructions on how to get there.
What Are The Three Methods You Can Use To Grow Your Coaching Business?
Hello, everyone. I'll give you a few moments to jump online. This is Sasha Raskin going live on all the social media accounts, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
So who am I? I'm a coach, I'm a counselor mostly doing couple's therapy and business coaching, I'm also the founder of the six figure practice which is an accelerator program for building your private practice. And what we're going to talk about today is extremely important, and I wanted to take the time even on a holiday to talk about that, because it's a very common myth that I'm seeing counselors and coaches make. And probably you have some free time today to build your coaching or private practice, so let's talk about how you will actually need to invest in your business.
And this can be done in two ways, it will be done in two ways if you actually want it to grow - (1) it will be paying in time, (2) it will be paying in money, investing in money, (3) it would be both.
So the most common myth that you can have, that you probably hold or maybe thought about, thought this way before, is that you build it and they will come, right? They're just going to, if you're a counselor you're just going to put a little blog about yourself and what you do on Psychology Today and you will be bombarded by all those calls from the potential clients that all want to work with you. Or if you are a coach, maybe same thing, maybe you'll go to Numi, by the way which is a great directory, and you get all those leads, potential clients, you'll have conversations with people and you will be bombarded with clients.
Guess what? This is not the case. You will build it and they won't come, right? Building it takes time; it's not just about putting a little blog on your Psychology Today. And I just want to say things as they are, right? I could sugar coat them but I don't think I'll be doing you any favors by doing that. Seeing the trajectories of so many counselors and coaches that I coached and it definitely requires an effort.
So when you are building all those marketing systems that you will need like your website, SEO, Google Ads, Google my business, content marketing, social media posting - all of those things will require either investing your own time or your money.
And Kelly, you're saying a lot of people don't realize how important the verbiage on Psychology Today profile is. Yeah, you're totally right. It's even if all you're going to do is write something for Psychology Today it still needs to be a good marketing copy, right? It's not your resume. You actually need to put some time and effort into it, and probably you will need some good education about how to write that, right? This is not another academic paper and it's not your resume, you need to know how to write a copy that actually brings your potential clients to take action and reach out to you versus scrolling to the next counselor on the directory.
So many times counselors and coaches at the beginning they'll get into this trap of cash 22 which is, "Okay, I don't have a lot of money to invest right now, so I will wait for more clients and then I'll start investing in my business." And honestly, good luck with that approach. I'm just saying things as they are. Not investing at all, investing money in your business, will result in growing in a slow way.
Now I'm not saying throwing money at it. Definitely as a fresh graduate, been there, done that, right? You're very limited probably in your funds, so the investing should be done in a smart way. The easiest way to do that is find a practice accelerator or business coach or mentors or a combination of all of those to help you create all those marketing systems on your own, right? So you will be maybe investing a little bit in more education, the business education that you didn't get in your program, and that will help you maximize your efforts and do it the right way in investing time in doing it on your own.
In a way it's not on your own, right? You have three methods you can create your business - (1) is do it yourself which is trying to figure out, cutting through all the noise with the free materials that are all online and doing a lot of trial and error. So you will pay with time but you will pay with way too much time, right? It's not rocket science to build your practice. People have done it before, right? You don't need to reinvent the wheel. And you will pay with a lot of blood, sweat and tears for trying to figure it out on your own.
The second approach is done for you which is you're just paying for anything you can possibly imagine to be done for you. For example, building your website, a company that builds your SEO, search engine optimization, etcetera.
I really believe in the done with you approach which is finding a community or a mentor or literally a program that teaches you a step-by-step and guide you how to build your business. So you get the information there, the application is done by you, right? So you save a lot of time by investing a little bit of money, and that is in my eyes the best approach to do. Of course, I'm heavily biased towards the program that we created, the6figurepractice.com, definitely visit the link that you see on the screen not just to apply for our program which is great but also for all the free resources that I'm constantly updating. By the way, all those live videos just like the one you're watching right now or if you're watching the recording, I'm doing those daily to make sure that as many counselors and coaches get access to this valuable information.
Now in the program, what we do is we create results, right? During the last few weeks we had I think two counselors or three completely fill their practice, just showing, and each one was maybe two or three months into the program.
This is not rocket science. You can literally take a packaged roadmap that someone else went through, me for example, and just apply that and create it on your own instead of trying to figure it out.
So the next step for you would be to go to the6figurepractice.com, and there you can (a) there's a great 20 minutes free training that I created breaking down all the marketing strategies you will ever need. There's also a free call you can apply to with one of our coaches and we will guide you to build your own game plan, basically where you're at, where you want to be and what are the obstacles, so you can apply for that call - that is free as well. We have podcasts, we have videos and we have articles. So pretty much anything that you can think about in terms of building your practice is available for free.
Now if you want help with applying all of that in a community with live calls and all the lectures, video lectures, and workbooks and whatnot simply go to the six figure practice program tab and you can learn about the program. And not only that, you can watch the case studies that we have of the program participants where they go in depth into their own journey in building their practice. And this is beyond just our program, this is also important to see what is possible, right? What can be done when you apply what we teach on your own.
So I hope it's been helpful and I hope it inspires you to take action, either putting a little more effort and time in building those marketing systems to grow your practice so you could actually help the people you were trained to be helping. Or potentially figuring out smart ways to invest especially in the things where you get stuck, right?
I wish you a happy holiday. And thank you for joining us in this live. Take care. And of course, just you can simply message me on any of the social media, I'll be happy to answer any questions. Take care.
